Plain water kefir is a blank slate for all the flavorings you can think of. It is even a great medium for flavored tea.
Next time you are in the mood for a tea flavored soda just grab some plain water kefir and a tea bag. In a couple of days you will have a fizzy tea infused soda chock full of probiotics and deliciousness!
- 3 cups of prepared water kefir
- 1 flavored tea bag
- Place you water kefir and tea bag in a jar. Let sit 1-2 days at room temperature to infuse the tea's flavor into the water kefir.
- Remove the tea bag and discard. If you want fizzy soda like kefir, bottle the flavored water kefir into a tight lidded bottle to for 1-2 more days at room temperature.
- Refrigerate and drink chilled.
